There are many boats that do this trip. These boats are not Cruise Ships / boats but are Transport Boats for People and Cargo. On the Santarem there is one tour included in Santarem and the rest of the time is cruising. The area of the ship you will stay in is closed off to the regular passengers and is for tourists only but the accommodation and food is good clean but simple.

This is not the best way to see the Amazon Forest but if you need to go to Belem from Manaus or vv then this is a good way to see the river and get to your destination.
