Natal, the capital of Rio Grande do Norte State, was founded by the Portuguese but was also marked by the presence of the French and Dutch. Nowadays Natal is a modern city that lives from the thriving touristic activity, thanks to the natural beauty on its surroundings.

In the area between Genipabu and Maracajaú, the scenery is magnificent, formed by huge dunes, beaches and lagoons.

Activities 

Swimming and relaxing on the beaches, boat trip to snorkel on the outer reefs (which form a natural aquarium). A must-activity is to visit the dunes of Genipabu and area on a buggy tour, where you can go on inumerous adventure rides (sandboarding, etc) if you wish.

Natal Local Tours

Tour 1 - City Tour (3 hours) - Visits the main city attractions, such as the Reis Magos Fortress, Alberto Maranhão Theatre, shopping centers, the new and the old Cathedrals, government and historical monuments, main streets and avenues. We also will stop at a craft center, where we can buy folk and regional souvenirs.


Tour 2 - North Beach (7 hours) - Tour by buggy. We will leave the hotel after breakfast to Redinha Beach, crossing Porengi River by boat to Genipapu Beach, where we'll ride buggies on the dunes, 3 pax per buggy. Then we'll go to Barra do Rio, this time crossing Ceara Mirim River by boat, Pitangui and Jacuma, where we'll swim in the lakes and take another buggy ride. Finally, we will stop at Muriu Beach. A typical lunch will be served.


Tour 3 - Pipa Beach (7 hours) - During the ride to Pipa Beach, we will pass through some country towns and sugarcane fields. Pipa is located at 80 km from Natal, and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches of the Northeast. We'll stop at Tibau do Sul Beach - great for photos - Madeiro Beach, also known as the Bay of the Dolphins and Cacimbinha Beach. At Pipa we'll walk to Moloque and Love beaches. These are deserted beaches with beautiful views, where sea turtles lay their eggs. You'll feel like you are in paradise. A typical lunch will be served.
