Day - PUNO
Reception at the airport of Juliaca and transfer to the hotel selected.
Lodging. Rest of the day free.
At night we suggest you to enjoy an Andean dinner and appreciate an
authentically Peruvian folklore show.
2nd
Day - PUNO
Continental breakfast.
In the morning visit on boat to the Uros Island, where the Lake Settlers
are still living like their ancestors, keeping the costumes, culture and
its community life. The Islands are located in the Titicaca National
Reserve. The Uros are descendants of one of the oldest towns of America.
Their main activity is fishing and hunting.
In the afternoon, a visit to the archeological Sillustani area located 34
kms. from Puno City at 4,000 m.a.s.l. The Chullpas are big funerary
monuments (necropolis) over an esplanade in a peninsula shape. The Collas
built it beside the beautiful Umayo Lagoon. This square and round
edifications are 12 meters high and this was created as a challenge for
the law of balance, because they are smaller at the bottom than at the top.

airport, train station or bus terminal for your international or domestic
