The Italian made cable car holds 80 passengers and each of the two stages takes two minutes. The first stage is Morro da Urca with 170 metres, with a restaurant, amphitheatre and heliport. The second stage goes on the Sugar Loaf itself, thus named for its resemblances to the loves of sugar used by the Portuguese at the time of the city's discovery. The views are spectacular. The tour will also visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, samba stadium and view of architectonic monuments of Rio.

Lunch at a typical Churrascaria (As much as you can eat Brazilian BBQ)

After lunch we will make our way to the Corcovado Station where we will ascend Corcovado by train, to visit one of the world’s most famous landmarks-the gigantic statue of Christ the Redeemer. From Corcovado, proceed to Cascatinha, Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado mountain. Cidade Maravilhosa, "the marvelous city" as it is known to its residents (or cariocas) and the rest of Brazil, is also arguable the most beautiful city in the world, both in terms of its setting, its people and the distinctive local atmosphere. This is, after all, the city that brought us the girl from Ipanema and all her friends. Rio de Janeiro, the world's largest tropical city, is a mix of a major metropolitan centre, with all the facilities you might expect, with excellent restaurants, sophisticated night life, charming bars, musical extravaganzas, theatre, cinema, museums, art galleries and world-class shopping and resort.
