Included Services

• Tour Conductor from Brazil Travel, Specialized in South America will travel with the group throughout your trip to assist you in having a smooth, fun and informative holiday.

• English Speaking Guides will meet us at each destination providing you with the advantage of the extra local knowledge.

• Land transfers are in comfortable modern air-conditioned Vans or Buses as detailed in the itinerary.

• Guided Tours as detailed in the itinerary are private for the group (except any optional tours), English Speaking Guides included.

• Entrance fees to both the Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado including the Train.

• National Park Taxes for both Brazilian and Argentinean Parks in Iguacu/Iguazu

Not Included  

• Flights (we have not included flights due to the airline policies but will inform you of the costs as soon as you contact us)

• Optional Tours 

• Meals not included in the itinerary

• Travel Insurance (Please make sure you have travel insurance for situations out of the control of Brasil Travel - see below under General Conditions)

• Drinks, Laundry, Tips, Telephone calls, Internet use and any other personal expenses etc….

Reservations/Payment

• 30% non-refundable deposit is required on confirmation of the reservation (unless it is within 45 days before the tour start date where 100% payment is required)

• Full Payment to be received 45 day before tour start date and is non-refundable.

• Credit/Debit card payments will be charged a surcharge of 4.5% (We accept VISA & MASTERCARD)

• Transfer of funds to our account in Brazil is accepted  (please contact us for details and fees)

Meals

• Meals included in the program are detailed on the itinerary.

• If you have any restrictions on what you can eat please inform us when you confirm you reservation.

Accommodation

• Check-in in Rio de Janeiro is 2pm

• Check-in in Foz do Iguacu is 12pm

• Check-in in Amazon 2pm

• Check-in in Salvador 2pm

• Check-out is at 12pm

• Double rooms can have separate beds depending on availability at the hotel.

• A third person depending on the hotel has the possibility of using a sofa bed. Consult for child policy and prices.  

• Standard Rooms are included but you can upgrade your Room to a Luxury or Suite (contact us for details).

Flights

• For National flights in Brazil check-in is a minimum 1.5 hours before takeoff.

• For International flights check-in is a minimum 3 hours before takeoff.

• Baggage allowance for national flights in Brazil  is 1 x bag of 20kg + 1 x small carry on of 5kg.

• Baggage allowance for International flights to and from South America depends on your country of origin, please contact your airline.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

• RESPONSIBILITY: Brasil Travel / Melchior & Hodson Ltda and/or agencies involved with the packages, flights and tours shall act only as agents of the tour members in making arrangements for hotels and any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to persons or property due to an act of God, default by any hotel, company or person rendering any of services included on the tours or flights. Furthermore, no responsibility is accepted for quarantine, government restraints, weather or other causes beyond their personal control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of government authority. The payment for the reservation shall constitute consent to all provisions in the "General Conditions" as published herein.

• PAYMENT POLICY: Please see details above. The prices are subject to change without notice until reservation is paid for.

• CANCELLATION POLICY: Please see details above under Reservations/Payments. In an extreme case where Brasil Travel has to cancel the tour full refunds will be given.

• NOTES: Our prices include only what is stated in the fax or e-mails sent. Other fees, such as energy, maid service, phone calls, laundry, bellman or any other extra expenses are not included. For transfers, two (01) pieces of luggage plus one (01) carry-on allowed per person. An additional cost may be charged by driver for any extra additional luggage.

IMPORTANT:

• Brasil Travel reserves the right to confirm a similar hotel if the one of choice is not available.

• Brasil Travel is not responsible for fluctuations in currency exchange rates or for economy changes which could affect the prices and conditions of reservations without warning.

• Brasil Travel is not liable for Internet piracy or any other problems caused by Internet hackers such as delays, omissions or false information sent.
